Feel Good Drag.

Well well well, what ya know.
Its already the last mth of the year.
Its a good year so far, although 1st mth of holidays were a bore.

Gonna promise myself I'll spend this mth fully. (Trainings, matchs, class events, drum lessons, revision of sch work etc...)

Church's packed with events too.
This weekend's Candy Weekend.
They're giving out free sweets (lollipops, jawbreakers etc) & BEN'S & JERRY ICE-CREAM.
Now, how awesome is that?
Then, the following Saturday would be the 80s/90s Weekend, where everyone dresses up like ppl from that era & jiggle to that era's music. (Think Rick Astley, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe etc.)
Then Sunday would be a 1min talent contest where the winner walks away with a GUITAR HERO GAME SET. Caught your attention yet? HAR HAR.

Chicken pox's a female dog, seriously.
Your whole body will start to look like the surface of the Moon, not to mention the fact that you have to stay at home for 2 whole weeks.
Dammit, its itching all over & I'm not allowed to scratch it. Oh, the agony. Actually, I don't mind the itch, its just that its itch at places where the sun don't shine. Go figure.
But the good thing is that it'll heal completely by 2 wks time so I have smth to look forward to.

Went to the doc's this morning, turns out I've never been vaccinated before. That's why I caught it.
Was given 2 bottles of calamine lotion & 2 pkts of tablets for speedy recovery & prevention of itchiness.
Honestly, when you apply the lotion to your face & look into the mirror, you can't see the pox marks. Its like you're wearing a facial mask or smth.
Nothing much happened today, just the same old stuffs. I can't believe I'm saying this but I kinda miss skool.

Its 2 mins till 3a.m on a Wednesday morning, 5th Nov 2008.
Holidays have a been a bore for me, honestly. & its only been what, 2 wks?
I sure hope things would liven up a little a the near future.

Came home late today, went to hear Nick Vujicic preach at church today.
FYI, he's an Aussie who was born without limbs. As you may expect, he has been teased, insulted & *insert suitable words here* throughout his childhood. He had thoughts of commiting suicide at the tender age of 8 yrs old. That was when he found out that the accomplishments he achieved even with his disability can be an inspiration to other ppl. So, he goes around the world giving talks about 'impossible is nothing' & 'believing in yourself, don't care what ppl say or think about you'.
Its was real motivating, I must say. He's a funny guy too. & oh, he can do what most normal ppl can, like driving a car, swimming, playing soccer etc etc etc.
Sounds hard to believe huh? Well, he's having 1 last talk in church tmrw at 7:30pm. Place's gonna be packed I tell ya. I had problems leaving church after that because there were truckloads of ppl there.

Anyways, have anyone heard the Twilight soundtrack yet? Honestly, I don't really think there's much about the Twilight series (I'm most prolly gonna get mobbed by legions of Twilight fans) but the soundtrack's rad. Paramore has 2 tracks on it & there's a piano track titled 'Bella's Lullaby' which I highly recommand.

Whole week's packed with special guests' talks at church.
At least I've smth worth doing this week.

What a wk its has been for me. Super tiring I must say.

Friday

Extra 1 wk lessons started today. Was late for 1/2 hr but didn't miss much, quite unproductive though. Headed home to change & left for church afterwards for prayer meeting. Hanged around for awhile before heading to Max Pavilion for A7X. Pretty much went alone because Hung & gang went in first.
Moshpit was chaotic/insane/fun/*insert suitable words*. Randomly made friends with 2 ppl in the pit though. Their names were Cheryl & Brandon if I'm not wrong. Pretty cool peeps & we happened to have certain stuffs in common.
Some funny stuff happened during the gigs. Bitch-fights occured between minahs & some ang mohs started a wall of death before the gig actually started. Was moshing when I saw a shoe on the ground. Randomly picked it up & threw it to the front. That was when I felt a tap on my shoulder & the guy behind me said, "Dude, that's my shoe." Damn paisei sial. If you happen to be reading this, apologies to you, dude.
Went home alone as I couldn't find Hung & gang. Reached home with muscle-aches, cuts on my knees, sprained right knee (I think) & an empty stomach.
Had instant noodles & fell asleep after showering.

Saturday

Overslept till 3+ & missed CEG with Ivan preaching (Sorry Chew/Hannah/Fee/etc). Darn it.
Left house around 4:40 & took cab down to church. Shuting & Huiyue came for svc & I think they like it a lot.
Pastor Aries from CHC preached today. Was good but wasn't as interesting as Pastor How's sermons. Guess I'm to used to Pastor How preaching.
Had dinner with CEG. Hadn't had LGS for awhile, missed the flaky fish.
Went up to church & slacked for awhile & left home at around11:30. Took MRT with Chewteng & gang.
Reached home around 12:30. Grandma's pissed. Apologies to you, grandma.

What a school year it has been eh?
Before you know it, its the last day of school already.
Well, not actually. Tmrw still have to go back school for extra lessons till next wk.
Oh well, they're for our own good & I can't afford to miss any of them.

I agree I haven't work as hard as I'm expected to in school. Gotta spend this 2 mths of holidays wisely.
Anyways, school ended at 11:15 & I 'wandered' around & then headed to NYJC for rugby match around 4+. Not much players turned up but match turned out to be pretty good. Peirce won in the end but it was all fun.
Walked around a near-by pasar malam with teammates before heading home. My back & left leg hurts a hell lot. Exam periods can really prevents you from exercising much.

Dinner (Grandma's Beef bee hoon) was awesome-o, haven't had it in a while.

Well, I'll be looking forward to tmrw. Why?

Church svc today was good as always.
'Hang Out at HOGC' was fun, the food was great & I kicked Dilan's butt in Guitar Hero 3 times.
(Sorry dude, had to rub that in, Haha.)
Left around 10 & reached home at 11+. Oh, the irony.

Getting back EOY results tmrw. Joy.
