It was Valentine's weekend in case you don't know. Schedule was pretty packed from Friday - Sunday but it was really fun & I was quite contented.

Friday
- Didn't go school, old knee injury came back to haunt me. Couldn't walk much & a bruised waist didn't improve the situation. Doc said I needed to wait till it's less swollen. Got a bad feeling that I'm gonna be out for at least 2wks.
Take a little afternoon nap before heading to church to finish up on effects patch for Saturday's EV svc. It was also Pst. Joakim's 1st day of his 3 part series so had to be there early. Svc was about these 10 modern day matrys who's statues are actually above the entrance of London's Westminister Abbey (if I didn't spell wrong). They pretty much revolutionize the Christians of today with what their beliefs & the actions & sacrifices they gave to make things happen.

Saturday
- HeartFest day, was totally stoked about it. Woke up early to prepare & run through for EV svc after HeartFest. Went to join CG to play all the games including DDR, Guitar Hero WT & the ever-popular Gladiator machine.
Guitar Hero booth was a blast. Was supposed to play with Fedora & Eve but Fee last min told me she don't know how to sing the song (3 players = 2 guitars, 1 mic). So she became my mic stand & I played the guitar & sang at same time (sounds like D.Goh much). We played Misery Business btw. The choruses were killers man.
Gladiator machine was cra-zayyyyyy. Our grp created a record of shortest matches during the whole event. Average durations of our matches is what, 3 secs? Mine ended in hilarious fashion. Match starts, opponent hits me in the head & my headgear flew off & next moment he fell off & I won (^ ^).
Left the grp for DJ duty at 1:30pm. Was pretty nervous at 1st but after awhile I kinda got a hang of it & enjoyed it very much. Got very good responses from the leaders & the congregation. So I was very much contented with my performance.

Svc was at 5pm. Prepared the effects patch but some system prob came up so it was quite hectic. It was fixed few mins before svc so it was quite a relief. Had fun doing effects for the svc, especially during the praise songs with the punchlines. Had a little mistakes doing it but I'm sure I gave my best. Learned quite a lot from this so it was all good.

Hanged around & fellowshipped with CEG before leaving at around 11.
Reached home, layed on bed, KO-ed.

Sunday
- Woke up early for maths tuition at home. Got better understanding on probability, quite sure it'll come in handy during common tests. Went out for cheena tuition after that & head for church for the last day of Pst. Joakim's sermon. Enjoyed quite well. He'll be coming back in June so I'm looking forward to that.
Head home earlier for family dinner. T'was good to catch up with family members.

Dad's coming home soon. Stoked.

Well well well, its been sometime since I've updated this blog eh?
Nth much been going on recently, except for the fact that season's starting in 14 hrs time from now (I counted). 1st match's against Jurong sec at CCAB. Quite stoked about it, confident we'll be able to win.
School has been okay for me. Haven't been feeling well this past few days. CAs coming up in 2wks time. Gotta put in the effort, Dee.
Chinese new year was good, bought myself a spanking new, handy-dandy psp. Have been busy playing PES 09 & Fifa 09 on it. Some rad vids are on it too, so bus rides ain't so boring no more. [:

Kinda looking forward to next wk because of 3 reasons:
1) HeartFest is on next Saturday, 14th Feb (Gyea, its on Valentine's & the ad. poster's up there on the left.)
2) I'm 1 of the 4 DJs hosting the event. (Now, ain't that exciting?)
3) Pastor Joakim's seminar's next wk! (He's amazing, trust me.)
HeartFest's jam-packed with loads of stuff, I tell ya. There'll be RockBand game, DDR, Gladiator Game, food & drinks and a whole line-up of FUN FUN FUN.

Honestly speaking, this year's church events are pretty shweet, with 2 gigs included in the schedule too. Not gonna say much but its gonna be awesome-o.

Its been quite awhile since I updated this here blog of mine.
So let's start the new year with a brand new post. (How exciting.....NOT.)

Anyways, school was as usual today. I don't know why but I actually enjoy going school nowadays.
Skipped rugby training to go church to finish up effects patch for Saturday's Zone F svc, managed to finish some hmwk in the process too. I must say, I'm pretty satisfied with what I accomplished today. Doing the effects patch was kinda tough at 1st but its gets fun once you get a hold of it.
Reached home at around 10:15 pm. Ate dinner, packed bag & off to bed soon.


Tired? Gyea. Inspired? Definitely.

Time sure flies eh? School's starting for most of us next Friday! Hmmm I bet most of us haven't finish holiday hmwk. (not me, I finished mine 2 mths ago. Now, if only I can find them...)

So anyways, Christmas eve was decent. Service in church was great & I managed to spend some time with mummy dearest at Orchard, although the human traffic was cra-zayyyyyy. Did a little shopping & bough parents some gifts, ate at a little Jap store. Pretty filling, I must say.
Then, she left for a party with her friends while I left for mine in church. Twas' fun & all. But then again, Christmas is always fun, right?

Well well well, what ya know.
Its already the last mth of the year.
Its a good year so far, although 1st mth of holidays were a bore.

Gonna promise myself I'll spend this mth fully. (Trainings, matchs, class events, drum lessons, revision of sch work etc...)

Church's packed with events too.
This weekend's Candy Weekend.
They're giving out free sweets (lollipops, jawbreakers etc) & BEN'S & JERRY ICE-CREAM.
Now, how awesome is that?
Then, the following Saturday would be the 80s/90s Weekend, where everyone dresses up like ppl from that era & jiggle to that era's music. (Think Rick Astley, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe etc.)
Then Sunday would be a 1min talent contest where the winner walks away with a GUITAR HERO GAME SET. Caught your attention yet? HAR HAR.

Chicken pox's a female dog, seriously.
Your whole body will start to look like the surface of the Moon, not to mention the fact that you have to stay at home for 2 whole weeks.
Dammit, its itching all over & I'm not allowed to scratch it. Oh, the agony. Actually, I don't mind the itch, its just that its itch at places where the sun don't shine. Go figure.
But the good thing is that it'll heal completely by 2 wks time so I have smth to look forward to.

Went to the doc's this morning, turns out I've never been vaccinated before. That's why I caught it.
Was given 2 bottles of calamine lotion & 2 pkts of tablets for speedy recovery & prevention of itchiness.
Honestly, when you apply the lotion to your face & look into the mirror, you can't see the pox marks. Its like you're wearing a facial mask or smth.
Nothing much happened today, just the same old stuffs. I can't believe I'm saying this but I kinda miss skool.
